VII Area 10 AGM ‘Lets Rock @ Lanka’ Update

Dear Tablers,

Area AGM was discussed during the recently concluded Area AGM & the following details were finalized & adopted

1.   It shall be known as ‘Let’s Rock @ Lanka’

2.   The AGM shall be on 27^th & 28^th August 2008 at Colombo.

3.   The program is as follows:

·         27^th Aug: 10.30 am            : Departure from Bangalore

·         27^th Aug: 12.00 nn             : Check in at Hotel

·         27^th Aug: 2pm-7pm            : Panoramic sightseeing.

·         27^th Aug: 8pm                   : Dinner at Hotel

·         27^th Aug: 9 pm onwards    : Party

·         28^th Aug:10am to 5pm      : Shopping/free day

·         28^th Aug: 6pm to 9pm        : AGM session & banquet

·         28^th Aug: 9pm onwards     : Entertainment at the Hotel

·         29^th Aug: 12nn                  : Check out and Free day till 5pm

·         29^th Aug: 7 pm                  : Departure to Bangalore

4.   Extended stay ( Optional)

·         29^th Aug: 12nn                    : Check out & depart to Bentota

·         29^th Aug: 2 pm                    : Check in and full day at resort/water sports

·         29^th Aug: 8pm onwards      : Disco/fellowship

·         30^th Aug: 12 noon               : check out and proceed to airport. Enroute sightseeing

5. The registration cost shall be same as last year’s amount which is Rs. 5000 per head for 2 days stay at Colombo and shall include accommodation, breakfast/lunch/dinner, transfers & sightseeing in AC coach with guide and entertainment at the banquet. It shall be Rs. 2500 per child sharing the same room without additional bed.

6. The extended stay is optional and is priced at Rs. 2500 per day per head & Rs. 1000 per child.

7. The airfare is Rs. 13000 per head. We have subsidized it to Rs. 8900 for Tablers/sq.leg & Rs. 4900 for ladies & children

8. We have to pay Rs. 5000 per head by the 8^th of this month to the airlines. Kindly send in this amount to Vadi by 7^th indicating the date of return. In case you don’t confirm later you may have to pay the full airfare after that as the airlines may extend the offer. The balance amount of Rs. 3900 for the Tablers/children needs to be paid by the 7^th of Aug. However you have time until then to transfer this amount amongst your fellow members.

9. The registration amount of Rs. 5000 is to be paid before departure.

10. We have to raise over Rs. 6.00 lakhs as sponsorship to make this event a reality. We request you to do any one of the following and enable us achieve our target. It would be of great help to us.

· Get us a sponsorship for the table magazine/ blog/events. The details of the sponsorship is enclosed.

· Pay up the full Air fare wherever possible.Kindly ask your Tablers to pay up the advance of Rs. 5000 at the earliest but not later than 7^th July.
