Dear Tablers and circlers of Area 10

It feels wonderful to be standing before you as the Chairman of the Area 10. This joy and honor comes with a lot of responsibilities, I am aware of this fact. I would like to assure all of you that I am able and willing to take up the challenge that comes along with this high position.

I would like to congratulate Tr. Mohan for giving area 10 another year full of fellowships and fun. Yes it has been a difficult year, but the sheer fighting spirit of tables of Area X and the leadership of Tr. Mohan won the day for us. I would like to congratulate each and every tabler of area X who stood up to the challenge and redeemed our pride.

Gautambhai, as always outstanding, thanks to you and your team for the wonderful AGM, You and Mohan has created a new Benchmark for all future AGM convenors.

I firmly believe that fellowship is the back bone of Tabling. Fellowship leads to friendship and bonding amongst us. This year, we will continue to focus on fellowship and our fellowship convenor Tr. Brian is already brimming with ideas on how to make this year enjoyable.

Friends, another focus area this year will be extension. As of today Area X has a very low strength and we all have to concentrate on internal extensions to make our tables and tabling strong. Your area board will compliment your work by adding 2 more new tables this year, tabler Anand your External Convenor and Tr Shiva Kumar your area internal convenor along with ……. Your Area Vice chairman will be working with you to have 200 members by the end of this tabling year.

Chinese philosopher Lao TZU said “to lead the people, walk behind them” . My motto is to walk with you. There will be no pressure on anyone to achieve targets on Supply house and Greeting cards, the tables and tablers will decide what you want to do and I will walk with you,

Friends we will be taking a break on FTE this year and will not be building any fresh classrooms, but, we will support the schools we have already built by the way of sponsoring benches, desks, school uniforms, notebooks etc. I request all tables to at least sponsor one of these to the schools you have built.

A lot has been done to improve administration in area in the past year and we will continue the good work done by the past AST’s and my good friend Ravi will start his work by first updating all the tablers data in the directory accurately, and then concentrating on bringing in a healthy reporting culture among all the tables, being in the form of minutes or activity reports and then conducting 24 meetings by all tables in this year.

Friends, finally I would like to thank all of you for having faith in me by unanimously electing me to be your Area Chairman. I shall ensure that the confidence is fully kept by me.
